The scope of work consists of the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary for the construction of an approximately 2500sf CMU building on a concrete slab. Work includes all associated site work, site utilities and landscaping in addition to all interior work and building systems. Building to be used as alert crew quarters. Facility is located at the Fresno Air National Guard Base, Fresno county, California. The magnitude of proposed construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. 20% bid bond requirement; Davis-Bacon wage rates applicable; liquidated damages are $150.00 a day; 60 day bid acceptance. Contract performance is 180 calendar days. This solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about 10 November 97; bid opening is scheduled on or about 11 December 97. This solicitation is advertised as an unrestricted procurement. The standard industrial classification (sic) code is 1522 and the applicable small business size standard (including affiliates) is $17 million average revenue over the previous three years. Plans, specifications and bid documents are available at a non-refundable $55.00 per set. A certified check or money order only must be made out to "USPFO for California".
