NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for Modification to HVAC Systems, Various Buildings at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: Replacing three air handler units and eight variable volume boxes in Building N-161, replacing two air handler units in Building F-7, replacing one condensing unit and installing one packaged DX A/C system in Building E-7, replacing one packaged chiller at Building F-5, and providing modifications to associated controls, ductwork, piping and electrical power. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1711. The corresponding size standard is $7,000,000.00. The anticipatedrelease date of the RFO is on or about 11/06/97 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 12/09/97. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
