System shall utilize standard products capable of providing control of building HVAC equipment and reporting specific information on building operations. The project shall consist of the procurement and installation of distributive electronic controls, end devices (valves, thermostats, etc.) and telephone connections to provide HVAC control information exchange in 22 buildings at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A firm fixed price type contract is anticipated. The Standard Industrial Code is 1542. The related Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The date for issuance of the solicitation is on or about 3 NOV 97. A site visit/pre-proposal conference is anticipated on or about 19 NOV 97.
