Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) has a requirement for a Contractor to engineer, furnish, install, test and maintain end-to-end service for a global, full-duplex, full-period, packet switched communications network connecting two primary control centers; Patrick AFB, FL, and Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM, to eighteen remote service points around the world. The control center at Patrick AFB will be connected to all eighteen remote service points and the control center at Kirtland AFB will be connected to ten of the eighteen service points. In addition, a backup control center will be required at McClellan AFB, CA. The data transport protocol between the remote sites and the primary sites will be unencrypted. The OCONUS remote sites are located in Alaska, Antarctica, Argentina, Australia, Bangui, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Ivory Coast, Paraguay, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Thailand and Turkey. The CONUS remote sites are located in Texas and Virginia. The contract term will be one base year with three one-year options.
