Administration has a requirement for a physician that holds an Aviation
Medical Examiner (AME) designation to provide consultation services to
review and interpret electrocardiograms (EKG's) of applicants for
first-class FAA medical certification. Medical files and EKG's will be
made available to the physician and must be reviewed during normal
office hours at the Civil Aeromedical Institute (CAMI) located in
Oklahoma City, OK. Contract will be for a 1-year base period with an
estimated number of 120 days of required consultation services.
Contract will include a 1-year option period to be exercised at the
option of the government. This Notice is for informational purposes for
Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The
Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged
Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small
businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically
disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire
short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related
contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
