Q -- DENTAL ASSISTANT SERVICES SOL RFQ 275-0003-8 DUE 120497 POC Stefanie Kongable, Contracting Officer, 913-682-8700, extension 613 The Bureau of Prisons, North Central Regional Office, is soliciting for dental assistant services for federal prisoners at the United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth, Kansas. Services include but are not limited to retrieving records and escorting patients; maintaining dental equipment; taking and processing various radiographs using standard dental radiographic, panelipse, cephalometric and transcranial equipment; and assisting the dental officer in dental speciality sections, including restorative, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthetics, and examinations. The provider must have valid credentials to provide services in at least one state of the United States. A total of three (3) dental assistants are required to provide services at the United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. Services will be required for a base period not to exceed twelve months, with four one-year option periods. The estimated quantity per assistant for this contract is 30 one-hour sessions per week.
