Construction Services: The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Region 10, Auburn, WA, intends to contract with RangeTech International Corporation, LaGrange, Illinois, on a sole source basis, for indoor pistol range equipment. The project is located in the Federal Building/Courthouse in Anchorage, Alaska. Furnished services include, but are not limited to: 1) Provide range ventilation systems capable of maintaining airborne lead below the OSHA action level of 30 mg/cubic meter for an 8 hour exposure, and providing effective smoke removal by achieving an average air velocity of 75 feet per minute at the firing line, plus or minus 15%, from floor to ceiling; 2) Provide a bullet trap with spent bullet capture capability. an engineered portion of the range exhaust shall be taken through the bullet trap to capture lead dust; 3) Provide articulated target carriers, controls, shooting booths with wireless communication; 4) Provide range lighting and controls, including red and blue flashing auto lighting and controls.
