44 -- PAINT SPRAY EQUIPMENT SOL N68335-98-Q-0014 DUE 112697 POC Bernice Kephart Code 213BK, (732) 323-2165 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for two sets of paint spray equipment to be used for the powder painting application of support equipment. The Ransburg-Gema MPS-1F manual powder system, or equivalent, shall be a stand-alone manual electrostatic powder coating application system including stand and interconnecting hoses and fittings. The manual powder system shall include PG-1 powder paint spray gun, PGC control unit, and P1-3 pump as specified in performance specification. Commercial off the shelf equipment shall be used to satisfy this requirement. Technical data is also required. The resultant contract will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. Procurement will be solicited under the test program for certain commercial items, FAR Part 13. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business. The solicitation will contain provisions for ordering an additional 10 systems over fiscal years 1998 and 1999. Solicitation #N68335-98-Q-0014 applies.
