44 -- DIRECT GAS FIRED INDUSTRIAL OVENS SOL N68335-98-Q-0015 DUE 112697 POC Bernice Kephart Code 213BK, (732) 323-2065 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for 2 ea Direct Gas Fired Industrial Ovens. The ovens shall be natural gas powered batch style ovens with double doors at each end designed for an operating temperature of 130 to 500 degrees F. Interior dimensions shall be a minimum of 10' X 10' X 20'. Specifically, the ovens shall be used for the curing of powder paint coatings on Navy support equipment. Commercial off the shelf equipment shall be used to satisfy this requirement., Technical data is also required. The resultant contract will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. Procurement will be solicited under the test program for certain commercial items, FAR Part 13. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business. The solicitation has provisions for ordering an additional 10 ovens over fiscal years 1998 and 1999. Solicitation #N68335-98-Q-0015 applies.
