This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01. This is a small business set-aside under SIC 3534, and the size standard is 500 employees. Vehicle lift set (above ground), with six mobile, electromechanical, wheel, contact, interconntecting, dual vertical lifting columns. Minimum lifting height of 63". The weight of each lift unit shall be no less than 1,250 lbs., for heavy duty loads. Each lift column shall have a lifting capacity of at least 15,400 lbs., or 92,400 lbs. for a six column set. Motors to be no less than 4 hp suitable for use with 220v 3-phase electric syupply, direct drive transfer, screw mounted, with screw spindle and safety and lock nut protected for intrusion of grease, acid, water, steam. Lift arms at least 14" capable of accepting tire sizes ranging from 7.50 x 16 to 12.0 x 22.5 inclusive. Lift carriages manufactured from heavy gauge sheet steel, supported by at least four heavy duty rollers. Carriage lifting with minimum friction, to include non-load bearing safety steel nut, electrically monitored. Automatic lubrication during lifting. Master control to allow operation of all, pairs, or individual columns, including hand-held pendent for pair and/or all operations. Columns interconnected with power cables and flexible double armored (stainless steel) multi-core grounds, oil resistant cables, no less than 30 feet in length. Safety requirements include: jack down safety switch, emergency stop button, warning lights and shut down switch, reset button, tilt control switch, and micro switch on pallet jack to prevent accidental lifting. Accessories: Support Stands (4 each), minimum 60" height, 17,000 lb. capacity; Wheel Adapters (4 each), forklift capable, for tires sizes from 13x165 to 16x750. Commercial warranty of at least 2 years parts and 1 year labor. Ship FOB destination to 911th Airlift Wing, Coraopolis, PA 15108, within 30 days after receipt of order.
