Werrell Tel: (410) 965-9473 The Social Security Administration (SSA) plans to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) for services of a contractor to provide National Change of Address (NCOA) processing to SSA~s Master Beneficiary Record for a period of 12 months (twice per year at 6-month intervals), commencing February 01,1997, or date of award whichever is later, with four one-year renewable options. This acquisition will be conducted under the authority of the test program for commercial items contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 13.6 and as authorized by 41 U.S.C 263. Specifically, FAR subpart 13.601(a) provides authorization to utilize simplified procedures for the acquisition of commerical items which do not exceed $5,000,000.00, including options. Offers are being solicited from contractors who are currently licensed by the United States Postal Service to provide Change of Addresses. Solicitation Number SSA-RFQ-98-3425 is scheduled for release on or about November 12, 1997, with quotations due 10 days later.
