Concerns having the ability for providing a community residential corrections facility(s) for Juvenile Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistance and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Portland, Oregon area. For Line Item One the estimated inmate days are 23,392 for the Base Period and 11,680 inmate days for the first, second, and third option years, respectively (100% males). For Line Item Two estimated inmate days are 10,965 for the Base Period and 5,475 inmate days for the first, second, and third option years, respectively (100% males). For Line Item Three the estimated inmate days are 10,965 for the Base Period and 5,475 inmate days for the first, second, and third option years, respectively (100% female). For Line Item Four the estimated inmate days are 7,310 for the Base Period and 3,650 inmate days for the first, second, and third option year, respectively (100% males). Estimated RFP issue date is November 23, 1997, estimated closing date is January 22, 1998. Contract base period is two years with three one-year option years to renew.
