The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations with Northrop Grumman Corp. for the purpose of issuing an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-97-G-0143 to provide for Repair of Repairables (ROR) of F-14 Naval Assets. The Electronic Repair Support Activity (ERSA) will provide to NAVAIR and NAWCAD Lakehurst material and services to repair and return to Ready for Issue (RFI) condition F-14 avionics, airframe and support equipment assets. ERSA will also incorporate necessary modifications to bring all F-14 assets inducted into their facility up to the current production configuration and return RFI assets to respective Fleet activities. Monthly reports identifying assets inducted and status of repair/modification will be required. It is intended that the period of performance will be a one year base period with 2 one year options. Services will begin on or about March, 1998. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Cite solicitation N68335-98-Q-0031.
