Items required for the up-grade are: Upper Receiver and Barrel Assembly, two Disconnects, Buttstock Assembly, Pistol Grip, Screw, Spacer, Selector, Trigger Subassembly, two Springs, Cam, and a Hammer and Hammer Pin Retainer. There is a basic year quantity requirements of 59,370 each Mod Kits with a 3 year evaluated option; quantity of 22,148 for option year one, 10,023 each for option year two, and 6,991 each for option year three. "Best Value" contracting will be utilized, evaluating Past Performance, Production Risk and Price. First Article Test is required. Statistical Process control is required.
