J -- RECEIVE, OPEN, INSPECT, DISASSEMBLE, TEST, REPAIR, OVERHAUL MODIFY OR REPLACE MALFUNCTIONING AN/USQ-82(V) DATA MULTIPLEX SYSTEM/FIBER OPTIC DATA MULTIPLEX SYSTEM (DMS/FODMS) EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS SOL N00024-98-R-5209 POC Contact Michael Ferlo, 703/602-7904 Ext. 527 / Contracting Officer, 703/602-7904 Ext. 523 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of the Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-98-G-5209 with Boeing North American, Inc., Guidance Navigation & Sensors, 3370 Miraloma Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92803-3105. Orders will be issued to receive, open, inspect, disassemble, repair, overhaul, modify or replace, and prepare for shipment malfunctioning AN/USQ-82 (V) DMS/FODMS equipment and components from LHD-1 and DDG-51 Class ships. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). BNA is currently the only manufacturer of the AN/USQ-82 (V) DMS/FODMS who has the design and technical knowledge to provide this effort. No other source has the experience, technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
