REMOVE REFRIGERANT FROM TWO CHILLERS Contractor to provide labor, materials equipment and supervision to remove approx. 8000 lbs. of refrigerant R-12 from two existing chillers at the East Campus, CAVHCS. The removal shall be done in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal environment rules and regulations. Approx. 500 pounds of the recovered refrigerant shall be transferred to storage containers furnished by this facility and be retained by the VAMC. the remainder (approx. 7500 lbs.) shall be transferred to storage containers furnished by the contractor and shall become the contractor's property. All bids must be received by november 17, 1997. Removal of refrigerant shall be completed not later than December 1, 1997.
