a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This requirement was
originally synopsized on 17 January 1997. This announcement constitutes
the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates
provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
90-41. This is an unrestricted procurement. The Standard Industrial
Classification Code is 3812 and the Small Business Size Standard is 750
employees. Item required: CLIN 0001; NSN 1560-01-HR1-8365, P/N
3330743-11, Radome. Quantity Required: 4 each. Required delivery is 120
days ARO. Radomes shall be manufactured, tested, and packaged IAW
Lockheed and USAF specifications and drawings, which are available from
USCG/ARSC Contracting Officer for $100/set. Drawings are proprietary to
the OEM but the Coast Guard has been granted Royalty-Free License for
one-time use of the drawings for this acquisition. Contractors who were
furnished these drawings under the original synopsis/solicitation need
not request them again. Note: Hinge Assembly, P/N 2430500-11, will be
provided by the Coast Guard as GFE in lieu of OEM P/N 2430500-1. Items
are to be delivered to USCG Aircraft Repair & Supply Center, Receiving
Section, Bldg. 63, Elizabeth City, NC 27909-5001. Inspection and
acceptance shall be performed by Defense Contract Management Command at
Contractor's facility. Closing date and time for receipt of offers is
01 December 1997, 3:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time. Facsimile offers are

provision 52.212-2 applies; evaluation factors will be price and past
performance, and these factors are substantially equal. In order to
evaluation the past performance, offerors are instructed to provide
descriptions of experience in manufacturing aircraft radomes during the
preceeding 2-year periodwhich include the contract number, agency,
point of contact and applicable phone number. References should be
given which reflect recent contracts with Federal agencies or military
organizations. Note: The Government reserves the right to contact any
potential source of information regarding an offeror's past
performance. Proposals should reflect pricing which is all-encompassing
of tooling, labor, material, etc. The Offerors are also instructed to
