PROPELLERS SOL N00421-98-R-1027 DUE 113097 POC Jennifer Trossbach, Contract Specialist, (301)757-9074 The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, intends to procure two types of propellers for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) Program which currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistic support to the fleet users. Standard propellers (Sensenich Wood Propeller Company Part Number W29KH18) will be ordered in quantities ranging from a yearly minimum of 800 to a yearly maximum of 1500. Rain propellers (Sensenich Wood Propeller Company Part Number W29KH18R.) will be ordered in quantities ranging from a yearly minimum of 50 to a yearly maximum of 300. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Sensenich Wood Propeller Company, 2008 Wood Court, Plant City, FL 33567 for a base year plus two options. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements. Sensenich Wood Propeller Company is the only authorized manufacturer of propellers by the original equipment manufacturer for the Pioneer Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) program. SEE Note 22. (0300)
