The Northwest Region was previously issued on August 14, 1997 is now included in this Western /Pacific Region solicitation. Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity-type, firm-fixed with special factor added to the weekly market price. This contract will provide U.S.D.A. choice beef for Defense Commissary Agency stores located in the Western/Pacific Region, including Alaska and Hawaii. Requirements are for an annual estimated 28,829,323 pounds of fresh beef products. Acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. Performance will be for one base year and two one-year option years. Government required delivery schedule is 7 days after date of order for CONUS and 14 days after date of order for Alaska and Hawaii. Performance is estimated to began February 1, 1998 for Groups I,II & III. Performance is estimated to began April 1, 1998 for Groups IV,V & VI.
