703/602-0204 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue
orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering
Agreement N00024-98-G-4027 with General Electric Aircraft Engines,
Marine Products Department, 1100 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01910. Orders
will be issued for labor, material and parts, as may be required to
restore/overhaul main propulsion and power generator equipment
components to a serviceable operating condition. Orders will also be
issued for technical and engineering services, assemblies,
subassemblies, special tools, product improvement, and other material
necessary to support main propulsion and power generator equipment.
Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). General
Electric is the design agent and the manufacturer responsible for
developing this equipment. General Electric developed the designs for
this equipment from specifications and standards established by NAVSEA
and maintains the repository for all the design engineering data and
as-manufactured data for this equipment. No other source has the
technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the
work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy
the Navy's requirements. General Electric is the Navy's repair and
overhaul depot for the propulsion equipment parts. Companies interested
