Contract Specialist, 202-874-4716 The Office of the Comptroller of the
Currency (OCC) requires hotel rooms in New York City for its
Northeastern District Office during 1998 and 1999. The contractor shall
be required to provide, on an as needed basis, private, first class,
single suite guest rooms that have an oversized sleeping room, a
sitting area (may be part of the sleeping area), a fully appointed
kitchenette and a bathroom. The OCC estimates that it will require 1500
room nights during each year of the contract. The OCC guarantees that
it will book a minimum of 250 room nights each year. To be eligible for
award, hotels must: 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire
Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and
hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans
with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3)
have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the
Official Hotel Guide; two stars or higher per the Mobil Travel Guide;
three diamonds orhigher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG
Business Travel Planner. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
which shall be considered by the OCC. Offerors may request copies of
