(SIRS), Boca Raton FL 33427 for the purchase of a variety of information/educational CD-ROM products in support of Base and Field Libraries worldwide. The AFLIS requires these articles to cover important topics in Social and Natural Sciences, Government Publications, Arts and Humanities. These CD-ROM products must conform to the Lan standards in each Air Force Library. No computer hardware is required to satisfy these requirements, there are no requirements for a digitized product, vendor will be responsible for article selection and CD-ROM production. The contract will be a requirements type contract, with a base year and two (2) one year options. This requirement will be purchased as a commercial acquisition. Mr. Michael S. Coalson has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
