Project Numbers and Title: UHHZ 980800, Architect_Engineer Services -- Indefinite Quantity Contract -- Open End #M-13; UHHZ 980801, Architect-Engineering Services -- Indefinite Quantity Contract -- Open End #M-14. b. Location: Robins AFB, GA. c. Description: Work includes the production of designs, plans, drawings, estimates, and specifications for maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects. The Indefinite Delivery Contract will have a maximum of $750,000 per year in A-E fees, with a minimum of $5.000 guaranteed, against which individual delivery orders of up to $99,000 may be written. The Contract period is for twelve (12) months. The Government may at its option renew the contract for an additional four twelve (12) month periods upon completion of the initial twelve (12) month period. Typical work includes, but is not limited to, the following: (1) lighting and power distribution systems, (2) heating and air conditioning systems,(3) construction, alteration and repair of grounds, roads, buildings, and structures; (4) Alteration and repair of miscellaneous services and utilities, and (5) removal of asbestos materials and lead-based paint. d. Factors on eligibiliy for consideration: (1) Geographical Area: Southeastern U.S. (2) Firm Size: Firms considered small businesses and large businesses will be eligible for consideration under this announcement. (3) Other: (a) Firms with Intergraph CADD capability and those with other CADD systems and inexpensive and accurate translators (such as Autocad with Black and Veatch translator) will receive special consideration. (b) The Government may at its option negotiate with the firm selected at a later date for services to inspect the project. e. Estimated Start Date: Apr 98. f. Estimated Award Cutoff Date: Apr 99. g. Evaluation factors in approximate order of importance are as follows: (1) Specialized Experience. (2) Professional Qualifications. (3) Professional Capacity. (4) Past Performance. (5) Location. (6) Volume of work for DOD. h. In order to be evaluated, the firms must submit the total dollars awarded to the A-E by the DOD during the past twelve (12) months or past A-E fiscal years. i. Firms desiring condideration will submit SF 254 & 255 and appropriate data as described in Note 62 herein to Jerry Thovson, 78 CEG/CECM, 775 Macon Street, Robins AFB, GA 31098-1864. Responses received by 30 days from the date of this issue will be considered for selection. Key Personnel to be listed in the SF 255 are those individuals who will be doing the actual design/site investigation work on these delivery orders. The Government expects these people to be assigned to this project. Any change in the personnel used during this contract shall be coordinated with the Government.
