Randolph, Contracting Officer, 702-652-4383 The Contracting Office at Nellis AFB, Nevada intends to enter into a noncompetitive contract with Sparta, Inc. for recurring maintenance, inspection, calibration, technical support and emergency repairs for the Mobile Ordnance Disrupter System (MODS). This equipment is a prototype which uses high power laser technology to neutralize explosive ordnance and was developed for the Air Force by Sparta, Inc. It will be issued for a basic period plus two option years. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 3728 with an employee base of 750. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Offers from concerns other than small business concerns are not solicited. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis to the extent available.
