(RFP-FH-1929/RWC) The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is soliciting proposals for a three year contract with two, one-year options to provide full Brokerage/ Consultant and Insurance Services to assist WMATA in marketing, developing, advising, and consulting to include placing all insurance for WMATA on related (operation and construction) matters. Coverages in the Schedule of Insurance are: Casualty & Property (including Primary, Excess & Builder's Risk), Boiler and Machinery, Electronic Data Processing, Crime & Fiduciary. Offerors must have an existing office in the greater Washington DC area or be able to establish one with qualified personnel. 10 years minimum experience in negotiating insurance contracts with offshore captives and international markets and placement experience as a Broker selecting and placing Insurance for large institutions.
