Thompson (90C) 615-327-5315 The contractor will provide industrial garment laundry service at the Nashville VAMC. The garments will be worn by VA personnel in the facilities maintenance department and housekeeping department. In the base year, the contractor will provide three items to the VA. First, the contractor will sell to the VA an estimated 968 men's and women's smocks. Second, the contractor will provide weekly laundry service for estimated 440 VA owned smocks. Third, the contractor will provide weekly garment and laundry service for contractor-owned garments (men's and women's pants and shirts). The contractor will provide 11 each of specified pants and shirts for an estimated 116 VA employees for an estimated total of 1276 pants and 462 shirts. The contractor will launder an estimated 790 contractor-owned garments per week. The contractor will provide inside pick-up and delivery at the Nashville VA Medical Center. The contractor will perform on site measuring of VA employees for garments. The contractor will be responsible for minor garment repair and replacement of a specified number of lost or damaged contractor owned garments per year. In option years 1 and 2, the contractor will provide weekly laundry service for estimated 440 VA owned smocks and will provide weekly garment and laundry service for 790 garments (men's and women's pants and shirts). This is a small business set aside solicitation with a Standard Industrial Code of 7218. Average revenue amount is $10.5 million per year over pervious three years.
