The Marine Corps Reserve Support Command proposes to lease between 120 to 200 pagers for one (1) base year with options for four (4) years. There will also be options to add additional pagers in the option years. The pagers must have nationwide coverage, which includes all of the continental United States, via 1-800 access to the paging network or direct access 1-800 numbers. Coverage in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico is also desired, but is optional. This procurement will be conducted as an RFP with past performance and coverage area the non-price evaluation factors. The solicitation will be available on or about November 12, 1997 with proposals due on or about December 16, 1997. Award is expected to be made on or about December 31, 1997.
