Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), kulagaj@doim6.monmouth.army.mil. The
Government proposes to issue a sole source contract IAW FAR
6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) to Northrop Grumman Corporation for the acquisition
of twelve (12) SARs for FY98; however, all responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The first
SAR system is to be delivered no later than October 1999 at a rate of
one (1) system per month. Contractor may be required to accelerate
delivery schedule subsequent to completion of the final integrated
Predator delivery schedule. The Contractor may also be required to
deliver up to two (2) systems per month. The SAR has the following
performance requirements: a resolution of 0.3m strip map SAR,
depression angles of 15 to 60 degrees, squint angle of 90 degrees +/-
5 degrees at speeds from 20-80 meter/second. The SAR payload must meet
mechanical and electrical intefaces of the Predator MAE UAV. System
weight must be no greater than 170 pounds and meet the power
