The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to procure, on a sole source basis, 750 each Crossover Batteries, manufactured in accordance with Critical Item Product Function Specification for ADCAP Thermal Batteries, Document No. 6300535. The batteries will be procured from Eagle-Picher Industries of Joplin, MO. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated with delivery scheduled six months from date of contract. Any firm believing that they can provide the required batteries shall submit a written response to the Contracting Officer no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly demonstrating it's ability to provide the specified item.
