quillen_h@crane.navy.mil. The Navy requires nine each 28 VDC Power
Supplies for the US Marine Corps Air Defense Communications Platform
(ADCP) project now in production. This requirement is being solicited
on a sole-source basis from Lambda Novatronics, 2855 W. McNab Road,
P.O. Box 878, Pompano Beach, FL 33061, since the ADCP project
previously purchased three Lambda Novatronics power supplies. The time
required and duplicative costs to the Government to rewrite tech
manuals, change the drawings to incorporate a different power supply,
and provide additional training for a different unit would be
impractical. Therefore, these power supplies required must be
physically and electrically identical to existing power supplies
currently being used by the ADCP project. The power supplies must
provide 1000 Watts of output power at 28 VDC and be capable of
operating at 208VAC, 3 Phase 60/400 Hz input while drawing no more than
3.5 amps per phase. Delivery is F.O.B. Crane within 140 days after
contract award. It is anticipated that a fixed priced purchase order
will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and that a
formal Request for Quote will not be issued. The Total Small Business
Set-Aside has been dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105. All
responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the
Navy. (0303) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0204 19971103\61-0006.SOL)
