B -- CONTINUITY OF CARE JOINT REGIONAL MEETINGS OF STATE MEDICAID DIRECTORS AND HRSA SOL HRSA 240-OA-2(8) DUE 121997 POC Contracting Officer, Lorah Tidwell (301) 443-5128 The Health Resources and Services Admnistration (HRSA) proposes to negotiate a sole source contract with the National Association of Medicaid Directors, 810 First Street, NE, Suite 500, Washington D.C. 20002-4267 for the purpose of improving policies and policy coordination between State Medicaid Directors and HRSA constituents. These policies are needed to ensure continued access to high quality health services that meet the needs of the medically underserved individuals who received their healthcare through Medicaid and through HRSA-funded programs. This project will include issues that are particularly relevant for special needs populations such as, but not limited to, children and people living with HIV/AIDS. The National Association of State Medicaid Directors is the only responsible source capable of providing the required services as set forth in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)1.
