This synopsis is issued to announce a change to solicitation SP0100-96-R-0094. The original solicitation called for the acquisition of two separate types of hoods. Item 001 was for 2,330 each, Hood, Flyer's, SG Green 1565 (MIL-H-85037) with one, 100% mandatory option. Item 002 was for a quantity of 1,442 each, Hood, Flyer's (MIL-J-83388) with one, 100% mandatory option. All potential offerors are hereby notified that Item 001 is being deleted from subject solicitation and the quantity being procured for Item 002 is hereby increased to 3,772 each, with one, 100% mandatory option. As a reminder, this solicitation is issued on an Unrestricted basis and utilizes Best Value Source Selection procedures with the following factors to be evaluated: Past Performance and Manufacturing Plan.
