schwenkepc@jast.mil. The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office
intends to modify Contracts N00019-97-C-0037 and N00019-97-C-0038,
which were competitively awarded to The Boeing Company, Information,
Space & Defense Systems, P.O. Box 3707, Mail Stop 4C-80, Seattle, WA
98124-2207 and Lockheed Martin Corporation, Tactical Aircraft Systems,
P.O. Box 748, Fort Worth, TX 76101, respectively, to conduct
technology maturation efforts in the areas of Prognostics and Health
Management (PHM), Joint Distributed Information System (JDIS), and the
related Autonomic Logistics System. The Boeing Company and Lockheed
Martin are the only responsible sources capable of meeting the
Government's needs for developing and integrating PHM and JDIS into the
JSF Autonomic Logistics System. These modifications will be funded from
fiscal year 1998 through fiscal year 2000. Any technical questions
