The Small Business Administration proposes to negotiate a sole source
contract with Microsoft Corp., Redmond, WA, to furnish Premier
Technical Support Services for MS Windows 95, Office Suite and Exchange
applications. Interested firms are invited to identify their interest
and capability to respond to this requirement by no later than 11/7/97.
See Numbered Note 22. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items (services) prepared in accordance with the format in
FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 90-46. Items and quantities are as follows: 1.
Base Premier Support -- 1 YR Technical Account Management (TAM) 2.
Fixed-fee TAM Site Visit (up to 2 days) -- 1 YR Technical Services 3.
Supportability Review, Upgrade to Onsite—1 YR 4. Per User Service
Desk (Premier Web) Access (3 ea.) -- 1 YR 5. Individual TechNet
Subscription (7 ea.) -- 1 YR Period of Performance: Date of award
through one year thereafter. The provision at FAR 52.212-1
"Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial" and the clauses 52.212-4
"Contract Terms and conditions -- Commercial Items" and 52.212-5
"Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or
Executive Orders -- Commercial Items" apply to this acquisition.
