The requirement is set aside for small business concerns. The SIC is 7641, Reupholstery and Furniture Repair -- $5 Million. The following is a brief description of the work to be performed: Refinish Protestant Chapel pews to include book racks, kneelers, front kneeler partitions, and other small parts. Major portion of the job will require a complete refinishing job to include stripping, laminate patching, sanding, sealing, staining, and finishing. The Protestant Chapel is located in Building 750, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. As identified in the general paragraphs section of the solicitation, quoters are required to provide, along with their quote, references of like work. The solicitation package is scheduled to be issued on or about November 17, 1997. A formal site visit will be held on November 24, 1997, at 2:00 PM. All interested contractors are to meet at Building 103, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL. All quotes aredue by 4:00 PM, December 1, 1997.
