The project is located approximately 14 miles from downtown Juneau, Alaska. Project performance is expected to start on or about February 1, 1998; however, actual on-site installation will only be allowed on or after July 17, 1998, with completion of all work 8 weeks thereafter. This acquisition will be processed under the Commercial Item procedures of FAR Part 12, and will at a minimum evaluate price and past performance using simplified acquisition procedures. Anticipated solicitation date is November 20. There will be a $50 non-refundable fee for each set of plans and specifications.
