Ozburn, Contracting Officer, 719 556-7492 or Gerry Humphrey, 719 556-4789 This is a synopsis for commercial services using commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and simplified acquisition procedures in accorrdance with FAR Part 13, for Non-Personal services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, if required, supervision and other items and services necossary to Manage and Operate the Civil Engineer Logistics and Material Acquisition System at Peterson AFB, CO. The draft solicitation is scheduled to be released on or about 9 Dec 97 with comments due on 2 Jan 98. The final solicitation is scheduled to be released on or about 9 Jan 98, with proposals due on or about 12 Feb 98. Offerors will be required to submit separate Technical and Management proposals in an original and two (2) copies. Cost proposal will be required to be submitted in an original and two (2) copies. The proposed acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small businesses. Specific responses should include documentation to indicate current or past performance for this type of service acquisition. Interested parties must indicate business size, (small, women-owned, disadvantaged, or minority). Other considerations: The Government anticipates and encourages the establishment of joint ventures, teaming arrangements and subcontracting arrangement.
