Cooper, Contract Specialist, 301 415-6737 Security guard services are required for the NRC White FLint North Complex located at 11545 and 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision and equipment and supplies (with the exception of those provided by the Government) necessary to provide guard services to carry out the day-to-day responsibilities for access control; safety/security of Government and Contractor employees, visitors and guests; protection and control of property and classified and sensitive information; and the maintenance of law and order at special events that take place at the NRC faciilty and other locations which require temporary security support. The Contractor will be required to use other resources and technology such as alarm and fire monitoring equipment, safety equipment, card access systems, closed circuit television, etc. to accomplish its mission. A firm-fixed price contract will be negotiated. The period of performance is one year with the option to extend the period of performance 4 additional years. Security guard services for NRC Headquarters is currently being performed by United International Investigative Services (UIIS) under contract number NRC-10-95-149, which expires on January 31, 1998. Proposal for this requirement may be submitted by all concerns, i.e., large businesses, small businesses, and small businesses owned and controlled socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this requirement is 7381. This is not a Request for Proposal.
