(US EPA), National Health and Environmental Effects Research
Laboratory/Western Ecology Division, Corvallis, Oregon, is seeking
qualified sources to provide the services listed below at government
owned facilities located at: (1) 200 S.W. 35th Street, Corvallis, OR
97333; (2) 1350 S.E. Goodnight Avenue, Corvallis, OR 97333; (3) 3731
S.W. Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR 97333; and (4) 2111 S.E. Marine
Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365. Services include facility operation,
maintenance, repair, modification, and improvement; shipping,
receiving, and stockroom maintenance; and vehicle records/reports,
maintenance and repair. Support services required include project
management, engineering evaluation, and design; electrical, electronic,
refrigeration, mechanical, and general shop support; and research
equipment fabrication, installation, and repair. The contractor is
expected to perform this support with an on-site work force and to have
experience in the operation and management of facilities. The facility
at 200 S.W. 35th Street has twelve buildings with approximately 92,600
square feet on a ten acre site. The facility at 1350 S.E. Goodnight
Avenue has eight buildings with approximately 18,600 square feet on a
ten acre site located approximately five miles from the shops and
offices at 200 S.W. 35th Street. The facility at 2111 S.E. Marine
Science Drive, Newport, has three buildings with approximately 44,000
square feet on a three acre site. This procurement is a follow-on to
contracts 68C50009 with Team Support Services, Inc. and 68C50002 with
LB&B Associates. The US EPA anticipates awarding a fixed price
contract. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The SIC
code number is 8744 with a size standard of $20M in average annual
receipts over the preceding three fiscal years. The solicitation is
expected to be issued on or about 11/21/97, with proposals due
approximately 12/23/97. The RFP and any amendments will be available
via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd.
Firms are encouraged to access the RFP and any amendments via the
Internet. If you will be obtaining a copy of the RFP via the Internet,
it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where
the RFP is posted for any amendments. Firms who do not have the
capability to obtain the RFP from the Internet, may submit a written
request for a diskette with the RFP in WordPerfect 6.1 format from the
contact point at the address above; however, only those firms who do
NOT have the capability to obtain the RFP from the Internet should
request a copy of the diskette. Diskettes will not be sent to those
firms who have Internet access. If you request a diskette of the RFP,
you will receive amendments by mail, unless you notify us otherwise.
Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. Only one copy shall be
sent to a corporate entity, regardless of the number of requests from
one or more different geographic locations. All responsible sources
may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. See
