Vaccarella, Contracting Offier 719-333-3961 This synopsis issued to conduct market research and determine if sources are capable of satisfying the United States Air Force Academy's (USAFA) requirement with a commercial item. This is not a solicitation. No solicitation documents shall be issued. The USAFA's requirement is for a Fire Alarm System, having a commercial firm provide and install head end alarm receiving equipment at Fire Station 3, 9224 Airfield Drive, USAFA, CO. Receiving equipment must provide capability for 200 facilities and buildings of various sizes transmitting addressable fire alarm information. All receiving equipment shall provide the facility or building location and description, zone indication, and type of alarm to the dispatch center at Fire Station 3. Transmitters shall interface with existing fire alarm panels (Thorne-Kidde KDR-1000) and transmit information to head end receiving equipment.
