It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine, Library Operations Section to procure professional sign language interpreter services for nine (9) haring-impaired individuals. The period of performance will be December 1, 1997 through November 30, 1998 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The interpreter will be responsible for interpreting staff meetings, conferences, supervisor interactions and other miscellaneous interactions/activities. Sign language interpreters are required to be certified by Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or National Association of the Deaf (NAD) tested at a level fine (5) certification. Release of the Request for Quotations will be approximately fifteen (15) days from publication date of this synopsis.
