COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF NOVEMBER 5,1997 PSA#1966HISTORIC PROPERTIES OFFERING The U.S. General Services Administration
is seeking bids for the acquisition, renovation, and redevelopment of
the northern portion of Square 406, 800 F Street Historic Row,
Washington, DC. This historic redevelopment site is located in the
heart of downtown Washington's most active new marketplace, one block
from the MCI Center, and close to many major developments and
attractions. The marketing of this assemblage -- including the
extraordinary LeDroit Building -- coincides with the U.S. funded
reopening of F and 8th Streets, re-establishing F Street's historic
role as a primary downtown commercial corridor. This former
Pennsylvania Avenue Development Corporation property totals 24,601
square feet of land and is estimated to support more than 100,000
square feet of buildable area covering a mix of land uses. Bidder
responses are due in January 1998 with award scheduled to follow one
month thereafter. The RFP describing this offering in more detail is
available by written request sent to: JaneJ. Woo Portfolio Management
