This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-98-T0092. This is a Request for Quotation. This will be a Firm-Fixed Purchase Order. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. Standard industrial classification code: 4783. Small Business Size Standard: 18.5 Million. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-32 and DAC 91-1. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) has an immediate requirement for non-personal services to provide Packing, Crating, and Relocation Services for miscellaneous equipment and personnel located at Edwards AFB Ca. Work shall be completed in five stages, the first stage to begin 18 NOV 97. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to perform this service. To obtain a copy of the statement of work and list of equipment, a mandatory site-visit will be held on 06 NOV 97 at 9:00 a.m. Contact the buyer to be placed on the list. Quotations will not be honored from contractors not present on 06 NOV 97. The Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be used in awarding this contract by written quotation.
