LOW-LEVEL RADIOACTIVE WASTE DISPOSAL The Department of Defense (DOD) Executive Agency for Low-Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) Disposal, will hold their 8th Annual Meeting of DOD LLRW Generators Meeting at the Rancho Santa Barbara Marriot, Santa Barbara, CA, the 17th and 185h of February 1998. Limited display space will be available for interested parties; the hotel will charge a fee dependent on the number of exhibitors. We also will be considering a very limited number of abstracts for possible inclusion on the agenda on the subject of new LLRW treatment, processing, recycling or disposal technologies. We will review all abstracts as we receive them and select the topics most applicable to typical DOD LLRW and mixed wastes streams -- availability of space on the agenda will also be a consideration.
