Kearby, Contracting Officer, (817) 534-8400 The Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, Texas is soliciting for Therapeutic Recreational Wellness Instructor non-personal services at this location. These services are considered contractual in nature and should not be considered a personal appointment to the Bureau of Prisons. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The work to be performed under the resulting contract shall consist of approximately 150 one hour sessions, of group leadership in developing a health/fitness program for approximately 1400 male inmates incarcerated at this facility. The instructor of the resulting non-personal service contract must have a degree with educational emphasis in the area of exercise physiology. Further, the instructor should have completed research in the area of health related fitness and have a minimum of 5 years experience. Knowledge of drug dependence and wellness will be helpful. This procurement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
