The purchase order is for financial analysis services to review the Quality Management Implementation Results of several DoD teams in order to verify, validate, and ultimately certify the gains or losses according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The contractor will review the process improvements, train the teams in the financial analysis of proess improvement results, and certify the results as valid conclusions in accordance with GAAP. The period of performance will be 10 months. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, though any capability statements received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
