D -- DETAINEE TELEPHONE SYSTEM SOL HQ-98-01 POC Ashley Eanes (202) 305-4502 The contemplated RFP is for the procurement of a telephone system for the exclusive use of detainees incarcerated at detention facilities located throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The direct dial telephone system shall allow detainees controlled access to telephones to make outgoing calls only by collect or debit card. All equipment and software will be installed, operated, repaired, maintained and upgraded by the vendor. Equipment will remain the property and responsibility of the vendor. Various cost and call accounting reporting capabilities will be required. The proposed contract will be for one base year and four one year options.
