The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires repair services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Druck Incorporated, 4 Dunham Drive, New Fairfield, CT 06812. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of these services because they are the sole designer and manufacturer of the Air Data Test Set (ADTS), P/N ADTS 405-8325 already purchased by the Government. The ADTS is a portable test set which provides regulated pneumatic pressure and vacuum outputs simulating altitude and air speed. The ADTS will be used to test altimeters, air speed indicators and other air data systems on all Navy Aircraft. The proposed Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for these spare parts shall be for an interim support period of three (3) years. All repairs will be done using original manufactured replacement parts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within thirty days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
