This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO) for Cryogenic valves meeting the following specifications: Cryogenic valve, 8" 140# ASA raised face flanges, 316 SST body and bonnet material, extended bonnet, equal percentage plug, 316 SST plug with stellite facing, kel-F seat material, 316 SST body bolting. Valve body must be "Y" pattern, CV must be equal to or greater than 910. Valve must be equipped with a double acting cylinder actuator with 1509 psig operating pressure. Valve must also be equipped with 2 explosion proof limit switches. Quantity 4 ea. The provisions and clauses in the RFO are those in effect through FAC 97-1. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3494 SIC CODE AND 500 EMPLOYEES respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to MSFC is required within 60 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
