This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation DAAB07-98-0003 is issued as a request for proposal. (iii) The solicitation documentation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-2. (iv) The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 7372 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. We intend to acquire this proprietary software, license and maintenance from Ultimus as a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. (v) Contract line item is as follows: 0001 Ultimus Workflow Suite -- Catalog No. U-84321-V3, 6 each 0002 Client Licenses -- Per Base, Unlimited, Size 51-100 users 0003 Comprehensive Maintenance Plan, 6 each 0004 Shipping & Handling, 1 Lot (vi) Ultimus software is used to support the SBIS project. Software must be compatible with Ultimus software already fielded to 28 bases. (vii) All items delivered under any resulting contract shall be shipped, FOB Destination, by 1 December 1997 to: U.S. Army Information Systems Software Center (ISSC), ATTN: AMSEL-RD-SE-IS-ESO, 4035 Ridge Top Road, Room 303, Fairfax, VA 22030; MARK FOR: PM ISM/SBIS. Evaluation of offers will be based on technical acceptability, delivery, the offeror's record of past performance, and price. (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212- 3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jan 1997), with its offer. The CECOM Acquisition Center Fort Huachuca Contracting Office (CISSB) has established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) as a way of transmitting contractual information.
